Controlling and creating new representations and states is dramatically easier in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire. Tools that affect the viewing of a model have been combined into one managing dialog.

View Menu The first thing to understand in View Menu is that you're always working in a temporary and dynamic Display State, Simplified Rep, Exploded State, and Saved View, all at once. Individual actions, such as exclude components, changing component display to wireframe, and exploding components, can be completed separately. Once you get to a State or Representation that you want to keep, simply update it to a new or existing state.

View Manager Creating new Representations and States is as simple as depressing the "New" button to capture the temporary state. Likewise, existing states can be updated to capture a temporary state. Double click on an existing state to make it the active state. Additionally, combinations of Simplified Reps, Display states, Saved Views, and Explode States can be stored using the "All" tab.
