Description
- WindchillDS Control Panel failed to connect to WindchillDS if the server is only configured to support TLSv1.2
- Following error is shown:
An error occurred connecting to the server. Details: javax.naming.CommunicationException: simple bind failed: 0.0.0:4444 [Root exception is javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: Remote host closed connection during handshake]
- WindchillDS access log reports the following error:
[31/Oct/2018:04:20:22.372 +0000] CONNECT conn=7 from=n.n.n.n:n to=n.n.n.n:4444 protocol=LDAPS [31/Oct/2018:04:20:22.372 +0000] DISCONNECT conn=7 reason="I/O Error" msg="An IO error occurred while reading a request from the client: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: Client requested protocol TLSv1 not enabled or not supported"
