Description

  • At Windchill 11.0 F000 and earlier, the Windchill Workgroup Manager installation was not supported on Windows Server platforms
  • At Windchill 11.0 M010 and later, the Windchill Workgroup Manager can now be installed on Microsoft Windows Server systems without error
  • 3rd party CAD application vendors typically do not support Windows Server class platforms an operating systems, because the applications are predominantly client based
  • There is, however, strong market demand for supporting the configuration of Windchill CAD Workers, based on the Creo View Adapters and Theorem CADverter products, on the latest Windows Server platform OS releases
