Unplanned downtime is the enemy of efficient service, and when technicians are forced to react rather than predict, the resulting services is expensive, inefficient, and unsustainable over time and potentially harmful to customer relationships. Therefore, IOT predictive maintenance needs be top of mind for all field service organizations and the greater eco system. In this episode Mohan Gatta, speaks with Chris MacDonald on his perspective of the need for predictive maintenance within the field organization, what he experiences with customers and how those learnings can drive greater returns for other customers in turn.
