Creating/Uploading of a document fails with an error "There is no Cache designated vault or active folder for Cache designated vault on Local Master Site" in Windchill PDMLink

Description

  • The following errors occur when creating an object which has primary content
  • Default Cache Vaults or Master Vaults and folders are changed to Read Only automatically
  • Error while Check-In CAD Documents
There is no Cache designated vault or active folder for Cache designated vault on Local Master Site
  • Unable to upload files, MethodServer shows below error:
  • ERROR [ajp-nio-127.0.0.1-8011-exec-237] com.ptc.windchill.enterprise.servlets.GetCacheDescriptorServlet wcadmin - Could not get cache descriptor from the UploadToCache Service.
