Description
Purpose:
- Provide a central point for troubleshooting slow method server startup
- This article can also be applied to slow background method server startup
- ServerManager reports start of method server timed out:
MethodServerMonitor: ERROR : wt.manager.ServerManagerImpl - Start of MethodServer timed out.
- MethodServer ready takes a long time:
main: INFO : wt.method.server.startup - MethodServer ready (in 704.283 secs).
- MethodServer hangs and never completes startup
- Tomcat takes a long time to startup:
