Description

  • ThingWorx Foundation installer terminate with error
A problem occurred during installation that may cause an unsuccessful installation.
 An error occurred during installation. For more information, review the installation log files. Clicking OK will stop the current installation
  • ApplicationLog.log contains in the Failed_Install.zip file contains:
 [message: Connections could not be acquired from the underlying database!]
 Connection ThingworxPersistenceProvider, type PostgresPersistenceProviderPackage stopped
 Could not find persistenceProviderPackage PostgresPersistenceProviderPackage and thus could not stop data processing
[message: Unable to initialize and start system: Connections could not be acquired from the underlying database!]
 *** CRITICAL ERROR ON STARTUP: Unable to initialize and start system: Connections could not be acquired from the underlying database!
 *** Web Application STATE is being set to ERROR! ***
