Description

  • Remote Properties bound to KEPServerEX / ThingWorx Kepware ServerTags do not update after ThingWorx Platform restart
  • After restarting ThingWorx, Kepware Tags do not show a Value until the next update is made to the Tag
  • Remote Properties in ThingWorx show a Quality of Unknown and a Value of 0 after a restart with Start Type set to Read Edge Value
  • Properties on an IndustrialThing show Unknown Quality, Value 0 after ThingWorx Platform restart
  • Data retrieval from KEPServerEX shows incorrect data for some Tags and quality is marked as Unknown
  • Tags that do not see frequent updates stay at Unknown Quality and a Value 0 following a restart of ThingWorx Platform instead of fetching the value as set by Start Type: Read Edge Value
  • Remotely Bound Properties that have the following settings do not fetch initial values from KEPServerEX / ThingWorx Kepware Server following a restart of ThingWorx Platform
    • Cache Method: Read from server cache or Cache for specific time with a Cache Interval of 0
    • Push Type: Always Pushed or Pushed based on value change
    • Start Type: Read Edge Value
  • Quality: unknown on properties of Remote Thing bound to Industrial Connectivity via KEPServerEX / ThingWorx Kepware Server
  • Property driven by KEPServerEX / ThingWorx Kepware Server bindings / tags does not get its value updated in ThingWorx Platform
  • Some slowly changed tags will not get updated in the remotely bound Properties after a Tomcat restart
  • Error in ThingWorx / KEPServer logs (may vary depending on the KEPServer version):
