- MethodServer fails to start with error
com.ptc.windchill.upgrade.instupghistory.IUHException: Unable to create a new Installation
- Logs reports following message
ERROR [main] wt.method.server.startup.services - Failure to start manager com.ptc.windchill.upgrade.instupghistory.service.StandardDatabaseVersioningService wt.services.ManagerException: com.ptc.windchill.upgrade.instupghistory.IUHException: Unable to create a new Installation Nested exception is: java.sql.SQLIntegrityConstraintViolationException: ORA-00001: unique constraint (PDMLINK.PK_WTUPGINST_INSTALLATION) violated Nested exception is: com.ptc.windchill.upgrade.instupghistory.IUHException: Unable to create a new Installation Nested exception is: java.sql.SQLIntegrityConstraintViolationException: ORA-00001: unique constraint (PDMLINK.PK_WTUPGINST_INSTALLATION) violated at oracle.jdbc.driver.T4CTTIoer.processError(T4CTTIoer.java:447) at oracle.jdbc.driver.T4CTTIoer.processError(T4CTTIoer.java:396) at oracle.jdbc.driver.T4C8Oall.processError(T4C8Oall.java:951)
- Method Server fails to start after re-importing the database from the backup after rehosting
- Method Server does not start after applying CPS update
- Error in Method Server logs:
