Description
- Creo Parametric TOOLKIT and J-Link application startup fails with error message:
Unable to start application <application name> due to failure in starting Creo Platform Agent.
- Warning upon the Creo startup
The PTC Creo Agent did not initialize correctly. Working in this configuration is not supported because some functionality such as Windchill operations and embedded browser actions will not work

- Creo Parametric TOOLKIT and J-Link application fail to start with an error Unable to start application <application name> due to failure in starting Creo Platform Agent if it takes more than 60 seconds to enter the credentials in the browser login dialog for Windchill server.
- Starting a Creo Parametric TOOLKIT and J-Link application manually from Tools > Auxiliary Applications > select the application and then select the Start button will start the application successfully.
- Getting Creo Agent is not available error when running Creo Parametric 3.0 and an auxiliary application
- Toolkit application hangs, throws error Unable to start application <name of the app> due to failure in starting Creo Platform Agent and stops when some license feature could not be obtained
- After getting menu License Feature not obtained, Auxiliary Applications are not running
- ProEngineerStart() returns PRO_TK_GENERAL_ERROR and Creo Parametric reports the following error when running in graphical mode:
Unable to start application 'UNNAMED' due to failure in starting Creo Platform Agent.
- Common space or workspace is not accessible from Creo Parametric embedded browser
- Creo embedded browser is not accessible
- Creo fails to open and PRO_TK_GENERAL_ERROR is observed in trail file
- Creo Agent in worker shows error below, what affections will there be if environment variable PROTK_DELAYINIT_NO_DELAY=1 is set?
- Unable to start application 'UNNAMED' due to failure in starting Creo Platform Agent.
