MethodServer fails to start after updating to Windchill Bulk Migrator 2.1 with exception: "com.ptc.windchill.upgrade.instupghistory.IUHException: The current install has not yet been updated by the update tool"

Description

  • Windchill does not start after installation of WBM
  • MethodServer fails to start after updating Windchill Bulk Migrator (WBM) to newer version with the exception: com.ptc.windchill.upgrade.instupghistory.IUHException: The current install has not yet been updated by the update tool
  • Running update_tool fails with error :
