Description
- WindchillDS fails to start as a Windows Service once PTC System Monitor Agent has been installed
- Steps:
1. Install WindchillDS
2. In WindchillDS, go to Control Panel -> Runtime Options -> Windows Service; enable it as a service
3. Run PSM installer to deploy agent for WindchillDS
4. Go to Windows Control Panel > Administrator Tools > Services and start WindchillDS service.
- Error message: Windows could not start the Windchill Directory Server on xxxx....
- Despite the error, WindchillDS is started
- Disabling PSM allows to restart WindchillDS via services.msc once OPENDS_JAVA_ARGS in <WDS_HOME>\server\lib\set-java-home.bat has been reverted to its original value.
