- VFS is not installed during the Windchill Workgroup Manager (WWGM) Client software installation
- After installation the Windchill Workgroup Manager (WWGM) client software, PtcVfs.msi is located in the \wgm\installer
- PTC Places Options file becomes located in the Control panel of the local machine
- If either of these two files cannot be found in the appropriate locations then VFS did not install
