The Azure IoT Hub Connector Fails to Connect with the ThingWorx Platform if Connection Attempts are Made Before the ThingWorx Platform is Fully Started

Description

  • The Azure IoT Hub Connector is not establishing a connection with the ThingWorx Platform if it is started before ThingWorx is fully deployed
  • The following error messages are observed during Azure IoT Hub Connector startup
    • ERROR c.t.s.i.transport.MuxingBytesChannel - Error refilling connections on [channel: null, endpoint ws://HOST:PORT/Thingworx/WS, uri: ws://HOST:PORT/Thingworx/WS] failed : io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel$AnnotatedConnectException: Connection refused: no further information: HOST/IP_ADDRESS:PORT
    • ERROR c.t.s.i.t.netty.NettyBytesChannel - Error while establishing websocket connection on channel NettyBytesChannel [id=ws://HOST:PORT/Thingworx/WS-X, closed=true].
      java.util.concurrent.TimeoutException: Timed out
