Modified: 12-Feb-2025
Applies To
- Windchill PDMLink 13.0.2.2 to 13.0.2.3
Description
- After applying CPS patch 13.0.2.2 or 13.0.2.3 , Apache fails to start because it cannot load mod_auth_openidc.so on Windchill env with openID connection (OIDC) configured for SSO
- Apache fails to start on new Windchill 13.0.2.2 or 13.0.2.3 installation after configuring OIDC , refer to Windchill Help Center OpenID Connect Authentication Support
- From Windchill Shell , at HTTPServer/bin/ , run httpd -t command to check , it gets the following :
Syntax error on line 537 of D:/ptc/Windchill_13.0/HTTPServer/conf/httpd.conf: Syntax error on line 102 of D:/ptc/Windchill_13.0/HTTPServer/conf/conf.d/30-app-Windchill-Auth1.conf: Cannot load modules/mod_auth_openidc.so into server: The specified module could not be found.
-
- Note that mod_auth_openidc.so file does exist at HTTPServer/modules/ folder and there is not a permission issue on it that would be expected to cause this type of error
