Description

  • Is it possible to use OAuth with Windchill Rest Services in a browser app without encountering a 401 / 403 error
  • Third-party browser application is unable to consume Windchill Rest Services (WRS) via OAuth
  • A 401/403 is received in response to preflight request triggered when sending one of the WRS supported HTTP verbs as GET, POST, PUT, DELETE and PATCH (see Windchill REST Services).
  • The request works successfully when using API tools like Postman because no preflight request is initiated
