Description
- Starting Windchill Workgroup Manager 12.1 onward retrieval of SolidWorks family table objects/configuration reports error: Invalid instance file name <instance>@<generic>
- Unable to save SolidWorks configuration due to error:Invalid instance file name <instance>@<generic>
- SolidWorks data migrated using WBMFF with wgmclient.ini (Include.genericname.with.instance=Yes) set reports error message 'Invalid instance file name <instance>@<generic>' on retrieval when Windchill preference Include generic name with instance is set to No.
- Steps to reproduce:
- Pre-requisite: Set Windchill Workgroup Manager preferences Include generic name with instance and Manage new model instances by default to Yes
- Create and check-in SolidWorks data with configurations
- Set the preference Include generic name with instance to No
- Relaunch the Workgroup Manager and SolidWorks,
- Retrieve the SolidWorks data in WWGM and observe the dialog message:
