"Invalid API callback url is configured, check here" error after changing http to https in Codebeamer
Modified: 08-Dec-2025
Applies To
- Codebeamer 2.1 to 3.0
Description
- After installing Codebeamer, we accessed from http (8080) to https (8443) within Tomcat
- Since then, we have received the following warning: Invalid API callback url is configured, check here
- Server logs contain:
javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: PKIX path building failed: sun.security.provider.certpath.SunCertPathBuilderException: unable to find valid certification path to requested target at jdk.internal.net.http.HttpClientImpl.send(HttpClientImpl.java:578) ~[java.net.http:?] at jdk.internal.net.http.HttpClientFacade.send(HttpClientFacade.java:123) ~[java.net.http:?] at com.intland.codebeamer.controller.importexport.export.ImageFetcherImpl.loadFromAbsoluteUrl(ImageFetcherImpl.java:289) ~[cb-2.1.0.0.jar:?]
- We have corrected the URL under Word Export Configuration; however, the warning is still displayed, even if we set the setting to auto
- The Discovered URL is indeed identical to the browser's address
