Description
- Windchill basic authentication fails with ldaps
- Entry in HTTPServer access log
10.10.10.10 - <username> [25/Apr/2024:14:59:31 +0000] "GET /Windchill/ HTTP/1.1" 500 - 196942
- No error in MethodServer log
- Users from non ldaps directory servers can login fine
- Apache error logs shows below error:
[client xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:56017] AH01695: auth_ldap authenticate: user wcadmin authentication failed; <URL>: ldap_simple_bind() failed][Can't contact LDAP server]
- After setting LogLevel to debug in httpd.conf this message is written to error log
[authnz_ldap:info] [pid 3875427:tid 22951936681728] [client 10.10.10.10:2610] AH01695: auth_ldap authenticate: user <username> authentication failed; URI /Windchill/protocolAuth/ [LDAP: ldap_simple_bind() failed][Can't contact LDAP server]
- AD users failed to login after rehost an environment with LDAPs configured
