Description
- ThingWorx installer is failing to connect to Microsoft SQL Server (mssql) located on a separate server
- Connection Issues between ThingWorx Flow and Microsoft SQL Server while installing ThingWorx Flow
- The bitrock_installer_xxxx.log contains below error:
Program ended with an error exit code
- When executing the installer with xxxxx.exe --debuglevel 4 to enable debug logging, the bitrock log shows below message:
Executing sqlcmd -S ****\****,**** -U **** -k -h -1 -Q "****" Script exit code: 1 Script output: parse "sqlserver://<db_username>:<db_password>@<db_hostname>%5C<db_instance_name>:<db_port>?app+name=sqlcmd": invalid URL escape "%5C" Script stderr: Program ended with an error exit code
- Despite following CS318590, getting error Script output:
sqlserver://***": invalid URL escape "%5C
- Unable to install ThingWorx Flow with error
"Failed to validate the SQL Server connection and administration privileges. Check the information you entered" - Collation correctly set according to article CS349383 with SQL Server on a different server but still getting Installer error :
<DBname> is not set with the correct Collation property. Check the information you entered.
