Description
- The customized listener for the POST_COPY event does not work when performing SaveAs on UI and if a user does an explicit attributes update after upgrading to Windchill 12.x.
- When we register a listener for POST_COPY, Then when we perform Save as on UI, and if a user does an explicit Attribute update then the system throws a failure message window
- In the Conflict Management window, it shows the below Conflict Description:
A datastore uniqueness constraint violation has occurred on the following objects. Part - xxxxx, xxxxx, A.1 (Design)
- The same scenario and the same listener work fine in Windchill 11.1 and prior due to the attributes can't be updated explicitly on the Save As UI
- The listener also works fine in Windchill 12.x if the user does not perform an explicit attributes update on the Save As UI
- Is it possible to customize a listener to update some attributes' value and meanwhile update other attributes on the Save As UI explicitly?
