Description

  • Projecting multiple loops using the Project Tool in Sketcher environment of Creo Parametric 9.0 is harder and longer compared to previous releases
  • In Creo Parametric 8.0 and previous releases, workflow for this business requirement was to proceed as follows:
    • Select >Project >Loop
    • Only use successive Left Mouse Clicks to select the wished loops
  • In Creo Parametric 9.0:
    • Access the Project Tool
    • Select first loop as follows:
      • Sometimes, it's possible to:
        1. Access the loop with one Right Mouse click
        2. Select it with Left Mouse click
        3. Press CONTROL because begining selecting the second entity (starting point of second loop)
      • In some other situations, one Right Mouse click does NOT allow access to the expected "loop selection". In such situations, proceed as follows:
        1. Select the first entity of the loop
        2. Move the mouse somwehere else on the loop, and use 2 or three times Rghot Mouse Click to access the expected "loop selection"
        3. Select it with Left Mouse click
        4. Press Reapply icon and pursue selection of successive loops with same above logic
