Installation of ThingWorx fails with missing or incomplete CINC errors

Description

  • When trying to upgrade ThingWorx, windows installer throws below CINC error
  • Installation of ThingWorx Platform fails with CINC error:
There has been an error. 
We found files from a previous CINC installation.
The CINC installation is missing some programs essential for the installation to proceed. Uninstall CINC, remove the CINC folder and all contents if present, and retry to execute the installation
  • Installation of ThingWorx fails with missing CINC libraries:
There has been an error.
CINC is missing the required libraries. Uninstall your version of CINC, and the installer will install it for you.

  • Installation of ThingWorx Platform fails with net-ssh-gateway error:
There has been an error. Failed to install net-ssh-gateway-2.2.0.gem.
The application will exit now.
 
  • Issues while updating ThingWorx Foundation to a newer version, Installer fails with the error:
