Description
- Mail Extension is not working on some environments after update to ThingWorx 9.3.8 or later
- The issue is random and not observed on all environments (it was never reported on Windows)
- Error returned by the SendMessage service:
failed to access class com.sun.activation.registries.LogSupport from class javax.activation.MailcapCommandMap (com.sun.activation.registries.LogSupport and javax.activation.MailcapCommandMap are in unnamed module of loader org.apache.catalina.loader.ParallelWebappClassLoader @bcb09a6)), Reason(The API's scope modifier for a method did not allow access.)
- After configuration of ThingWorx Email Extension (Mail-Extensions-4-0-1) in ThingWorx Platform 9.4.0, executing SendMessage service returns the following error message:
