Description
- When uploading a WC license file, does WC use the .bin file only or do we upload the .bin and the .txt files send by PTC Access Enablement?
- Once uploaded, is the license file accessible somewhere from a WC repository on server side? (is it accessible and/or encrypted?)
- When uploading the license file, where should the license file be located and is there a browse step to locate the license file? (anywhere on the server itself or in a specific repository?)
- Is there a specific 'License' repository in WC install folders where we can save both .bin and .txt files without impacting WC normal running?
- Is there any information within both .bin file and .txt file which can be used to link both files together for traceability? (ex: SON#, DeviceID#,... not encrypted)
- Is there any way to read/decrypt the .bin file? (what is the character set in use? ex: ASCII, Hex...)
- What is the recommended tool to open and read a license file?
- How to know licenses in use (ex: base, advanced,...) from WC side?
- Do we need a server admin/write access to upload a license file?
