Description

  • Importing an AutoCAD electrical project file results in creation of Ghost Objects in the workspace as dependent drawing are referred to absolute path locations on which drawing was originally created
  • Typically happens when AutoCAD Electricals project file is created on another machine and then copied over to WWGM client machine 
  • Steps leading to the issue :
    1. Copy an Existing AutoCAD Project file along with its drawings from one machine to some other machine where WWWGM is installed and configured to be used with Windchill PDMLink
    2. Use  Tools> Import to Workspace action, select only the Project file and complete the Import to Workspace action
    3. Observe ghost object is created for related drawings
