Description
- Importing an AutoCAD electrical project file results in creation of Ghost Objects in the workspace as dependent drawing are referred to absolute path locations on which drawing was originally created
- Typically happens when AutoCAD Electricals project file is created on another machine and then copied over to WWGM client machine
- Steps leading to the issue :
- Copy an Existing AutoCAD Project file along with its drawings from one machine to some other machine where WWWGM is installed and configured to be used with Windchill PDMLink
- Use Tools> Import to Workspace action, select only the Project file and complete the Import to Workspace action
- Observe ghost object is created for related drawings
