Description
- Can’t register Solidworks when using non-admin account in the Windchill Workgroup Manager
- The following error is thrown when registering Solidworks in Workgroup Manager (WGM) using Normal Users (Non-Admin users):
Unable to register C:\Program Files\PTC\wgm\x86e_win64\obj\swadapter_loader_net.dll
OR
Unable to register <wgm_location>\x86e_win64\obj\swadapter_loader_net.dll
OR
Unable to register <wgm_location>\x86e_win64\obj\swadapter_loader_net.dll
- Solidworks registration succeeds for users having local admin account
- Are there any rights or registry keys required to enable registering Solidworks in WGM without granting the CAD Users local Admin right
