Windchill Workgroup Manager: Virtual Hard Disk(VHD) needs to be disconnected and reconnected to define the location of the Windchill File System (WFS)

Description

  • Unable to use VHD for the location of the Windchill File System
  • Steps leading to the issue:
    1. Install Windchill Workgroup Manager on the Windows client machine
    2. Create a virtual hard disk in the %USERPROFILE% folder or on a network drive and attempt set the location of Windchill File System (WFS) to VHD via Windchill Workgroup Manager
    3. Setting WFS to the VHD folder doesn't work without disconnecting & reconnecting VHD
