Description
- Startup of Solidworks or NX and the Windchill Workgroup Manager results in a connection failure with a hidden/background dialog stating that the Solidworks WWGM add-in cannot connect to the Windchill Workgroup Manager
Windchill Workgroup Manager Unable to connect to Windchill Workgroup Manager. If more than one instance of the authoring application is running, the new one will run disconnected.
- On startup of Solidworks or NX and the Windchill Workgroup Manager, the client is unresponsive and showing a spinning/processing disc
- Using Windows Task View, one can see the Solidworks Workgroup Manager add-in failing to connect with the splash screens and dialogs HIDDEN and in the BACKGROUND
- When clicking on a menu (e.g. Workgroup Manager) within the PTC Windchill tab in NX, the error "None of the actions specified for this button were registered Use Information -> Custom Menu Bar -> Report Tool for more information" appears
- Selecting the Windchill Workgroup Manager "Unable to connect to Windchill Workgroup Manager..." dialog in Windows Task View brings the dialog into the foreground
