Support of SOLIDWORKS “Large Design Review mode" with Windchill Workgroup Manager

Description

  • SOLIDWORKS Large Design Review mode is not certified with Windchill Workgroup Manager
  • Users would still be able to work with Large Design Review mode in SOLIDWORKS connected with Windchill Workgroup Manager  but there are some known issues that are listed below
    1. For a SOLIDWORKS assembly opened in Large Design Review mode, suppressed member relationship is getting created for components that are in hidden state after save of assembly
    2. Opening SOLIDWORKS Assembly(created in older version) in Large Design Review mode, fails to load without any warning
    3. PTC Windchill Status table shows incorrect information for assembly opened in Large Design Review mode, when its subassemblies are opened in Lightweight & Resolved modes
    4. More time is taken to change assembly from Large Design Review mode to Resolved mode
    5. In some workflows, PTC Windchill Ribbon Menu disappears & in few workflows it would not show proper information
    6. In SOLIDWORKS Feature tree, for some workflows PTC Windchill RMB actions are not available
    7. Error " Invalid pointer, Invalid pointer, Invalid pointer..." in WGM message area when RMB initiated for dependents of SOLIDWORKS Assembly opened in large design review mode
