Can not start APE Worker due to Windchill missing the JSONexception.class file in {Windchill directory}\codebase\org\json

Description

  • APE Worker can't start due to Windchill missing the JSONexception.class file in {Windchill directory}\codebase\org\json
  • Issue can occur with SIS worker as well
  • Windchill can not recognize the name even after compiling and adding the missing .class file to that location
  • When trying to run arbortextEngineWorkerstart.bat:
    • Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/json/JSONException
              at com.ptc.wvs.server.util.Util.<clinit>(Util.java:84)
              at com.ptc.wvs.server.cadagent.GenericWorker.main(GenericWorker.java:174)
      Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.json.JSONException
              at java.base/jdk.internal.loader.BuiltinClassLoader.loadClass(BuiltinClassLoader.java:581)
              at java.base/jdk.internal.loader.ClassLoaders$AppClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoaders.java:178)
              at java.base/java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:521)
