WT_HOME/wtCustom/wt/util/resource/resourceCustomize.rbInfo causes module installation to fail in Windchill

Description

  • Module installation via PSI fails  until  removing  the WT_HOME/wtCustom/wt/util/resource/resourceCustomize.rbInfo   file
  •  In  PTCSOLNINSTALLER_PtcInstall.log file , observed  the  following errors :
 -      [java] 'wt.resource.compile.exe=C:\Program'
 -      [java] 'Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_212/bin/javac'
 -      [java] C:\Program -classpath C:\ptc\Windchill_11.2\Windchill\bin\${env.CLASSPATH};C:\ptc\Windchill_11.2\Windchill\srclib\wnc\CommonCore.jar;C:\ptc\Windchill_11.2\Windchill\srclib\jmxcore\WtLogR.jar;C:\ptc\Windchill_11.2\Windchill\srclib\log4j.jar -d C:\ptc\Windchill_11.2\Windchill/codebase -encoding UTF-8 C:\ptc\Windchill_11.2\Windchill\TEMP\98952057\UTF-8\*.java
  • The same issue when applying CPS also 
  •     For example,  observed the following errors during CPS update :
 -      [java] 'wt.resource.search.ArtifactDir=custom' 
 -      [java] 'wt.resource.compile.exe=E:\Amazon' 
 -      [java] 'Corretto\jdk1.8.0_302/bin/javac' 
 -      [java] 'wt.resource.compile.classpath=E:\ptc\Windchill\bin\${env.CLASSPATH};E:\ptc\Windchill\srclib\wnc\CommonCore.jar;E:\ptc\Windchill\srclib\jmxcore\WtLogR.jar;E:\ptc\Windchill\srclib\log4j.jar' 
 -      [java] 'wt.resource.forceCompile=true'
