Description

  •  ThingWorx Flow upgrade fails using installer with error in flow-<datexxx>.log file "Timeout: Request failed to complete in 15000ms
  • Upgrading ThingWorx Flow from 9.1 to 9.3 using the installer with Microsoft SQL 2019 is failing
  • Errors in ThingWorxFlow installer log contains below errors:
    • Line 33: Error running sc query ThingWorxOrchestrationNginx: Program ended with an error exit code
      Line 951: Error running pm2 stop all: [PM2][WARN] No process found
      Line 1063: [15:40:50] DB schema restore ended with errors, and was not restored. It should be restored manually
      Line 1151: Error running cmd /C powershell.exe Move-Item -Path 'C:\PTC\THINGW~3\installer\backup\.pm2/dump.pm2' -Destination 'C:\PTC\THINGW~3\.pm2': Move-Item : Cannot create a file when that file already exists.
      Line 1155: + CategoryInfo : WriteError: (C:\PTC\THINGW~3...p\.pm2\dump.pm2:FileInfo) [Move-Item], IOException
      Line 1156: + FullyQualifiedErrorId : MoveFileInfoItemIOError,Microsoft.PowerShell.Commands.MoveItemCommand
      Line 1241: [15:47:14] Error: Restore was completed but db restore had failed
  • After running the installer second time using --debug level 4 option ThingWorxFlow_upgrade and bitrock_installer log shows below error: 
    • RequestError: CREATE INDEX [logs_bill_uid_user_uid_index] ON [logs] ([bill_uid], [user_uid]) - Timeout: Request failed to complete in 15000ms
