Description

  • The user able to login to ThingWorx and access to Vuforia Experience Service from Browser, but the authorization failed on Vuforia Studio Publishing
  • The application key es-authorization and es-public-access in ThingWorx are valid
  • The login authorization prompt when access http(s)://<es_host>:2019/ExperienceService/username and from Vuforia Studio is displayed but the login fail
    • Successfully login to ThingWorx and no error related to login failed from Experience Service
    • ThingWorx and Vuforia Experience Service are installed on same environment
  • The below error output in Vuforia Studio log:
debug: [twx-studio:auth] Failed to authenticate experience server http://es_host>:2019 undefined Unauthorized
debug: [twx-studio:auth] www-authenticate header: Basic realm="ThingWorx"
  • The below error is output in Vuforia Experience Service server using Administrator user:
  vxs:auth.twx authenticating with basic auth; url: /ExperienceService/properties +18s
  vxs:auth.twx user/pw failed verification in twx: Administrator 500 +31ms
  vxs:performance-metrics increment ves.auth.checkTwxUser.failed +17s
