Reassign to Responsible Role is not working when multiple Users are added as Participants in the Workflow Template in Windchill PDMLink
Modified: 06-Mar-2023
Applies To
- Windchill PDMLink 11.1 to 12.0
Description
- Reassign to Responsible Role is not working when multiple Users are added as Participants in the Workflow Template
- If one of the Users completes the Task/Activity before a deadline, the same Tasks created for other Users (which are part of a Role added as Participant in the respective Workflow) do not get reassigned even when Reassign to Responsible Role is set in the Workflow.
- Steps to reproduce:
- Add following values in Deadline tab of activity
- Added role in in participants
- Make sure Required is set to All
- Saved workflow and check it in.
- Create Change request, add 4 users in the role mentioned in participant
- Complete relevant tasks and get the task with deadline.
- 4 tasks with different assignees would be there.
- Complete one task within deadline and wait for others to get reassigned after overdue deadline.
- After the deadline passes, now all the open tasks should have been reassigned to responsible role, but only one of them is reassigned, others are assigned to the original assignee.
- We can see the reassignment history in task history table
- Add following values in Deadline tab of activity
