Creo ANSYS Result process hangs (shown as 0%) after mesh and resolve process in a special computer(Windows 10 Pro, NVIDIA Quadro T1000) in Creo Parametric
Modified: 27-Jan-2026
Applies To
- Creo Parametric 7.0.0.0 to 12.4
- Creo+
Description
- Creo ANSYS Result process hangs (shown as 0%) after mesh and resolve process in a special computer(Windows 10 Pro, NVIDIA Quadro T1000) in Creo Parametric
- NVIDIA Quadro P1000 reported same issue
- Creo Ansys Simulation does not proceed past 0% in results phase
- Creo Ansys Simulation does not proceed past 10% in results phase
- Refer to the following test cases:
- Even after changing the computer with a supported graphics card, Creo ANSYS Result hangs when running on a physical machine (Windows 10 Pro, NVIDIA Quadro T1000).
- Open the model on the physical machine where Creo ANSYS Result is running normally on other computers, and re-run Creo ANSYS, the Result calculation proceeds normally.
- Set the config option graphics win32_gdi, Creo ANSYS result still hangs
- Referring to CS334044: Set this hidden config.pro option creo_ansys_distribute_solver manually to the value SMP, Creo ANSYS result still hangs
- Running Creo 8.0.0.0 ANSYS on this computer, the same result hangs error
- Customer test Windows 10 20H2, 1909 version, the same result hang error
- Uninstall Intel(R) UHO Graphics driver, Creo modeling function is affected, running lag, can't enter Creo ANSYS environment, can't do Creo ANSYS simulation test
- However, running Result on a virtual machine (Windows 10 Pro) on that physical machine works normally. Refer to the system information file of the physical machine and the virtual machine.
- The INTEL drivers will still interfere regardless of whether the dedicated GPU is set as the primary GPU at the system level
- Example from Nvidia online help of the aforementioned setting
- For the message window "Fatal Error - ANSYS" displayed while adding Loads and Constraints to part / assembly in Ansys Simulation, refer to Article - CS348652 Fatal error when trying to use Creo Ansys Simulation "Fatal Error - ANSYS [Framework error caught :An unexpected error has occurred: The following required addins could not be loaded: Ansys.Study.Addin.Addin, Ansys.Study.Addin.Gui.Addin"
