Creo View Adapters: SolidWorks worker daemon fails to start when run as service in Windchill PDMLink

Description

  • SolidWorks worker fails to start in service mode but can be started manually by runnig swworker.bat in advance
  • The following error is thrown in the Worker_#.log:
sw2pv Error:58000: Failed to start SolidWorks
  • The following message is reported in the monitor_#.log file:
Could not start worker: Could not spawn worker
  • In some scenarios, there is no worker_#.log generated
  • The worker is failing to start when trying to run worker daemon from service or in foreground via task scheduler
