Windchill cannot communicate with PingFederate server

Description

  • Windchill cannot communicate with PingFederate server
  • Executing the ValidateConnection Service in ptc-windchill-integration-connector fails with error 500-500
  • System previously configured for Windchill Authentication
  • System being reconfigured for PingFederate SSO
  • ThingWorx login via SAML and oauth completes successfully
  • Cannot see data coming into ThingWorx from Windchill using Odata connector
  • Data coming from Windchill not properly visible in ThingWorx using Integration connector
  • Error in IntegrationRuntime.log:
2021-03-06 22:44:55.255 [ClientProcessor-3] ERROR c.t.i.r.IntegrationEngine - Exchange process failed with exception thrown : Your route exchange has failed.  HTTP operation failed with status [500 - 500]
