Windchill Workgroup Manager for NX 1899 and later : Value of NX Attributes such as MassPropDensitySource, MassPropMassSouce, MassPropWeightSource is lost after NX Save or Import to Workspace

Description

  • Mass property Information's are lost during Import to workspace of NX Assembly or Parts
  • Typical steps leading to the behavior:
    • Pre-requisites
      • NX data having user defined mass properties available in local folder
    • Steps:
      1. Launch NX application and do NOT activate Mass Properties Panel
      2. Open NX data having user defined mass property
      3. Check for part properties. ( Source info is displayed i.e. MassPropMassSource= User Defined1 as shown in below image Before Save)
      4. Save the part
      5. Check for part properties
      6. Notice Source info is missing i.e. value for MassPropMassSource is empty as shown in below image After Save
