- rel_model_name system parameter used in a relation in a template object keeps the name of the template object upon creation of a new object in Creo Parametric
- Consider for instance:
- One relation in a template object (a part or an assembly) configured as follows:
NAME= REL_MODEL_NAME
- The creation of a new object using above template
- After creation of the new object, the value of NAME:
- is the name of the template object
- and not the name of the new object
- >Tools >Relations >Verify is needed to update the value of NAME to the new model
