- DataLogger Advanced Plugin
- The DataLogger plugin allows users to configure record insertion into a compatible DB through a local 32 bit DSN
- The target DB does not need to be local, only the 32 bit DSN
- Records are inserted one at a time, bulk insert requests are not supported
- No confirmation is received from the DB to ensure records have been inserted properly
- If no errors are returned through the DSN, the system tags for insertion count are incremented by the number of records transmitted
- DataLogger cannot be used to retrieve values from a DB
- This would require the use of the ODBC Client Driver
