Description
- Digital Product Traceability (DPT) doesn't seem to support ThingWorx configured with Windchill Authentication
- Support for ThingWorx Platform using Windchill Authentication with Digital Product Traceability
- Does DPT support a ThingWorx configuration that uses Windchill PDMLink authentication?
- ThingWorx is backed by Windchill Authentication, all of the normal DPT configuration steps have been followed but a CORS error is displayed
- Digital Product Traceability between Windchill RV&S and Windchill PDMLink via ThingWorx Platform/Flow works as expected when ThingWorx Platform uses Basic Authentication but does not when using Windchill Authentication
- When using Windchill Authentication with ThingWorx Platform for the DPT solution while already being authenticated to ThingWorx Platform, DPT works as expected
- If not previously authenticated to ThingWorx Platform a CORS error is seen when attempting to add a Trace from the Traced To table
- ThingWorx Platform using Windchill Authentication with Digital Product Traceability shows Unable to connect to the server error in the Add Traces UI
- The following CORS error is observed via F12/Developer Tools when using DPT with a ThingWorx Platform instance that uses Windchill PDMLink Authentication
- Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at https://<Windchill PDMLink>/Windchill/wtcore/jsp/genIdKey.jsp?url=https%3A%2F%2F<ThingWorx Platform>%2FThingworx%2FThings%2FOslcDataServicesThing%2Fservices%2FGetServerResourceDetails.
