Description
- Cannot view or add traces within Windchill for the Digital Product Traceability (DPT) solution between Windchill PDMLink and Windchill RV&S
- Cross-Origin Resource Sharing (CORS) error regarding redirect when attempting to view DPT Traces
- Client traffic that passes through a Load Balancer prevents viewing or adding Digital Product Traceability Traces with CORS error stating redirect is not allowed for a preflight request
- End Users are unable to create Traces from within corporate network when the DPT solution (Windchill PDMLink, Windchill RV&S and ThingWorx) are hosted in the Cloud
- Clients hosted behind a Firewall/Load Balancer cannot create Traces, getting a CORS error about redirects
- Following CORS error is observed when attempting to view or add DPT Traces in Windchill PDMLink:
- Access to XMLHttpRequest at <Windchill RV&S Host> <ThingWorx Host>/Thingworx/Things/OslcDataServicesThing/services/GetUpStreamRemoteData from origin <Windchill Host> has been blocked by CORS policy: Response to preflight request doesn't pass access control check: Redirect is not allowed for a preflight request.
