Description

  • Unable to register server on Solution Central
  • Getting an error when trying to connect to solution central
    • ERROR] [O: c.t.w.Subsystems] [I: ] [U: <username>] [S: ] [P: ] [T: https-jsse-nio-8443-exec-2] 
      Unable to Invoke Service RegisterOrUpdateInstance on SolutionCentralSubsystem : Unable to fetch Access Token, check logs for details
  • Pre-registration is successful
  • Attempts to register ThingWorx instance on Solution Central returns error in browser:
    • Registration failed: Preregister the instance ID of this ThingWorx instance before attempting to register it with Solution Central
  • \ThingworxStorage\logs\ApplicationLog.log shows errors:
    • [L: ERROR] [O: c.t.s.s.s.SolutionCentralSubsystem] [I: ] [U: <User>] [S: ] [P: ] [T: https-jsse-nio-8443-exec-4] Unable to fetch Access Token - Reason : com.microsoft.aad.adal4j.AuthenticationException: {"error_description":"AADSTS700016: Application with identifier '<ID>' was not found in the directory 'PTC Cloud Solution Central'. This can happen if the application has not been installed by the administrator of the tenant or consented to by any user in the tenant.
