Modified: 11-May-2020
Applies To

- PTC Arbortext Content Manager 11.0 to 11.2

- Windchill Workgroup Manager

Description
- With the following steps, modified content in local workspace is overwritten with the content saved in Windchill Commonspace with the following steps:
- In Creo: check in a new CAD document to Windchill
- Check out the CAD document and modify it in Creo
- Save and Upload the modified document to the active workspace
- In a standalone browser: Go to the same workspace
- Undo check out the Creo document
- In Creo: In the same workspace, refresh workspace or Tool > Synchronize
- At step #6, the modification made at step #3 is overwritten with the content stored in Windchill Commonspace.
- Content overwrite may happen when performing Undo check out, Add or Update at step #5. The modified local content created by Creo Parametric and Windchill Workgroup Manager for MCAD and ECAD may be overwritten.
- Both preference settings (either client or server) to control local content overwrite, for example, ‘UndoCheckout.overwrite.local.content=No’ is ignored because the standalone browser does not provide local content handling options.
