Description
- Understand the Windchill license report under License Management
- License report is showing incorrect consumption of licenses
- PTC Author license is showing active user but no user is added in this showing active profile
- Windchill Advance and Windchill Premium are showing active users but no user added
- What are Active Users in License Usage Summary
- What does Unclassified mean
- The Detailed License Usage listing the license which customer does not purchase
- The customer would like to evaluate the license usage
- User who is added PTC Navigate Contributor Active Daily User License Group, when creates an Object (WTDocument) in Windchill, is shown consuming Licenses (such as PTC Author License and PTC Windchill PDMLink License) in the License Report (Detailed License Usage section) even though this User is not part of these License Groups
- Compliance issue with usage of PTC Navigate Contributor - Active Daily User License
- Detailed license Usage table shows Usage Count increased for several licenses
- Even though user has just logged into Windchill once during the report span
- When a User (ds) who is part of PTC View and Print Only License Group accesses the Classification Explorer and performs a search, then License Report shows that the User is part of other Licenses as well as shown in below picture :
- Users who are only part of PTC Contributor License are shown using other Licenses in Detailed License Usage section of License Reports
