Description
- How to avoid messages related to misalignment with custom parameter file upon retrieval process of Manufacturing assemblies?
- Tool Parameters intended to be always used in Manufacturing assemblies can be driven by an xml file where
mfg_custom_tool_param_filepoints to. - Refer to Example: User Defined Tool Parameters in Creo Parametric Help Center for more technical details on this capability.
- Upon retrieval of a Manufacturing Assembly file originally created with a given Tool Parameter xml file:
- If
mfg_custom_tool_param_filedoes not exist anymore in config.pro, system gives the message "The custom parameter file config option is not defined. Click Yes to delete existing definitions or NO to keep them."
- If
- If
mfg_custom_tool_param_filestill exists in config.pro, still pointing to original value, but :
- with xml file on disk which has been intentionally previously modified
OR
- In conditions of the current manufacturing file previously modified and save, and leading after in a difference compared to what is still defined in the xml file upon successive retrieval
=> system gives the message "The custom parameter file has definitions that conflict with existing definitions. Click Yes to continue loading or No to keep existing definitions."
- Is there a way to automatically answer No in above situations instead of asking the questions?
