Description

  • Check In of CAD Assembly fails with error:
    • A datastore uniqueness constraint violation has occurred on the following objects.
      Part Usage - Parent Part - <part number>, <name> , PTC, <version> (Design) to Child 0000003859_NEW, <part number>, <name> , PTC with Line Number <NUM>
  • The use case includes user performing Workspace Save As on the CAD Component and choosing to Update Parents, which causes uniqueness violation for the LINENUMBER attribute value
  • Workspace save as creates a new file and copy the component uses value which matches with the value of line number available in the windchill system for the top level assembly part uses
