- This article walks through two methods of resetting part and assembly read only status.
- Typically this is used when users encounter the following error:
The contents of "your part/assembly name" are read-only and cannot be modified
- Many times this occurs when parts are exported from data management software like Model Manager prior to reserving all of the models to the username of the individual exporting the parts.
