Issues while installing PTC System Monitor 6.0 M020 and PTC RV&S client/server 12.2.0.0

Description

  • Properties and dll file not copied
  • After installing PTC System Monitor 6.0 M020, the dtagent.dll file and some properties do not get added in the required locations
  • This behavior is observed with the Integrity Lifecycle Manager 12.2.0.0 server
    • Carry out the following tasks to resolve these issues:
      • Add the dtagent.dll file
        1.      Create folder dtLib/64 in the ILM server installation directory
        2.      Download the dtagent.dll file from this location and place it in the above location
      • Add properties in the mksservice.conf file
      • The properties mks.java.additional.<n> and mks.startup.timeout do not get added in the <IntegrityInstallDir>\config\mksservice.conf file after installing PTC System Monitor 6.0 M020
      • Add these properties manually in the ksservice.conf file as show in the following example:
                              mks.java.additional.37=-agentpath:<Server-dll file location>=name=Integrity_<hostname>,server=<hostname>:9988,wait=15,sotimeout=15,ctimeout=5
                              mks.startup.timeout=45
  • The Integrity Lifecycle Manager client 12.2.0.0 fails to launch after installing PSM 6.0 M020
